I. ADD CORRECTIONS TO ALREADY-UPLOADED YOUTUBE VIDEOS
Here’s how the pop-up would appear in the video, spurred by corrections added in the description.
If you have to add multiple corrections (oh no!), only the first correction sticker would pop up on the video. The rest of the corrections would not generate stickers, though they would still appear in the description.
Then again, if you’re frequently adding multiple corrections to your videos, perhaps you should re-evaluate your editing process!
🛠 Why does this matter? Instead of having to edit, export and upload an entire video again – especially cumbersome if it’s a large file – this time-saving tool will allow you to make a correction on the YouTube video itself.
This is especially beneficial for creators whose videos already had a lot of views and engagement (hopefully not from comments pointing out an error) and doesn’t have to forfeit all that algorithm juice by deleting a video to rectify a mistake.

II. FREE WEB VERSION OF PHOTOSHOP COMING
UNLESS YOU’RE IN CANADA, IN WHICH CASE IT’S ALREADY HERE
Adobe is rolling out a freemium version of its famous photo-editing software online.
Adobe’s goal is to use the web version of Photoshop to make the app more accessible and potentially hook users who’ll want to pay for the full version down the road.
So far, this free web version is only available in Canada, but keep your eyes peeled.
🛠 Why does this matter? Quality images can be the difference between a user scrolling past you in their feed or stopping to engage with your content.
Whether in a social media post or as part of content on a website, quality is key. (I know, I’m preaching to the choir.)
Photoshop currently costs $20.99 per month, so this is huge for content creators on a budget.
If you want a simple editing app that has some great free features, I can recommend Adobe’s Lightroom, which I use on my iPhone. iOS | Android

III. GOOGLE SEARCH CONSOLE REPORTING CHANGE
As you know, I’m a big advocate for Google Search Console to track how your site’s performing on Google’s SERP.
This week, a reporting change was announced: the “top-level” item in reports will now be labeled one of two ways:
“pages or items with critical issues are labeled something like invalid”
“pages or items without critical issues are labeled something like valid”
🛠 Why does this matter? In Google’s words: “We think this new grouping will make it easier to see quickly which issues affect your site's appearance on Google, in order to help you prioritize your fixes.”
Emphasis at the end is mine. That’s the key point here.
