tl;dr:
All paid members have had their subscriptions extended for free
The GA4 course is now live, with a lot of lessons to be added
I’m taking a break from the newsletter to finish the foundation of the course
Now, the details…
1. As you probably noticed, I haven’t published a newsletter for a couple weeks. For that reason, I have extended all paid subscriptions by a minimum of 30 days.
While I want to hold up my end of the bargain for all of you, I think it’s especially important that I do right by those who are paying to support this newsletter.
I will continue to extend subscriptions for as long as my hiatus lasts. So you already have 30 additional days to compensate for the 14 I just missed, plus however many more days I’m not writing. (If that doesn’t make sense, just ask, but the idea is to extend your subscription by the amount of time I’m not writing, plus the 16 extra days in this 30-day extension.)
2. This break will allow me time to finish the foundational lessons for my GA4 course, which is now live. (Paid members have access to varying levels of discounts.)
Even if you’re not a paid member, send me a note about getting a discount if you’re interested in the course.
3. So yes, I wanted to share that I’m going to take a break from writing the newsletter.
The first reason is time- and stress-related. Time because, as most of you know, I have a full-time job, so I have to compose and edit the newsletters outside of my work hours. Stress because I recently started having minor vision problems. I went to the optometrist and was told I was having “ocular migraines,” which I was told was basically a headache in your eyeball.
It lasted more than a week, which the doctor said isn’t normal. She also told me the solution is to “be less stressed.” Putting aside how unhelpful that advice was, one way I thought I could cut down on stress for a bit is to pause the newsletter. (FWIW, my vision is just about back to normal.)
The second reason, of course, is so I can finish the foundational part of the GA4 course. I say foundational because, by purchasing the course, you get lifetime access, meaning that anytime there’s a new update or you request a new lesson, I’ll add it to the course.
But there are a certain few lessons on my list that I at least want to finish before starting the newsletter back up.
Until then, please feel free to reach out. Thanks as always for your understanding and support.
