Tip: Learn a Little-Known Twitter Superpower
Ever notice how some people in your industry always seem to be on top of the latest news and trends?
Here’s a Twitter tip to help you close the gap.
Who are the most influential people you follow? People who are always breaking news, sharing amazing insights and helpful tips.
Thought of someone? Good.
1. Open their profile on your phone.
2. Tap that little bell you see.
3. Turn on notifications for Tweets, Live Videos, Spaces or all of the above.
(You have to make sure Twitter notifications are already enabled for your phone.)
You will now get push alerts on your phone the moment this user tweets something.
Do this for 2–3 people at first and see how you like it. If it’s not overwhelming, add a few more influencers at a time.
Benefits of Receiving Twitter Alerts
Receive statements from public figures in the moment (politicians, business owners, professional athletes) and be the first to publish stories/updates about it
Be among the first to reply to influential users. The idea here is to grab both their attention as well as that of their followers.
By getting in on the “ground floor” of the reply chain, you’re more likely to be noticed, retweeted, liked and followedReceive important product updates so your team can react fast. Twitter is where a lot of companies/organizations make official announcements. e.g. @googlesearchc is a good account to follow for important updates that could affect your SEO strategy

Google Analytics 4 traffic filters are paltry compared to what you can do in Universal Analytics.
Hopefully more options are added in the future. Until then, at least we can exclude internal traffic from our dashboard.
